Who is the Italian Blonde 

For the longest time, I spent countless hours wondering what it would be like to work in fashion. I spent even more time preparing myself to find my place in it. I read books and magazine articles about people who had achieved their goals and exceeded the expectations they had for themselves. After working through internships, and finishing my degree I quickly discovered that finding your place takes more time than I expected. This is why I decided to create this platform as a public way of navigating and sharing my steps through the industry. 

This is a place for people who are uncertain about navigating their own path. It is about being transparent and sharing struggles and difficulties faced when finding your place. We are so used to seeing people share their highlights, but I also want to share how hard it can be to not only achieve our goals but also set our goals. 

The Italian Blonde is how I remind myself that life is messy and it takes time to find your path. She is the part in me/us that is "figuring things out". The Italian Blonde uses her uncertainty to motivate her, not discourage her. Her steps are guided by confidence., not a set plan that has been mapped out Uncertainty is a way for us to grow, it pushes us toward new things and bettering ourselves. 

The Italian Blonde is a space to explore and share the ideas and experiences that have helped me throughout uncertainty.
