A FASHION JOURNAL

Let's be really transparent for a sec.
I have been really struggling with the uncertainty that naturally comes with being in your 20's. All day I scroll on Instagram and Tik Tok and I see countless people that have their lives together and every detail is color coded in a spiral notebook. They are organized and know exactly who they want to be and what they want to do.
And ALLL I can do is beat myself up because I haven't "figured things out" and I do not have a perfectly coordinated schedule that will help me reach my dreams and goals in 5 years or something.
I think that's okay though.
Don't get me wrong. I want to accomplish so many things and become something that I am not yet. I just don't know what yet.
I am a very fresh, green graduate. I have always wanted to work in fashion as a creative. When I was seven years old I begged my mother to put me in sewing classes. She was extremely confused to say the least. Long story short I was enrolled in sewing classes and was hooked. So you can imagine how confused I was when I finally entered the fashion industry after years on end of dreaming about it and preparing myself for it when I was uncertain. Don't get me wrong, I still think that this is the industry for me I just am trying to navigate it (I guess??).
Anyway,
This is a fashion journal. I just wanted a way to share my experiences navigating the industry as well as the steps I take toward reaching and setting my goals.
This is a place where it is okay to not have things figured out. I want to share things that have helped me move toward figuring things out whether they may be good or bad.
