My Spring 2023 Shopping List

I did the spring research so you don't have to.

Spring is my favorite season in terms of my wardrobe as well as what designers and brands are offering. I think that most people may not agree with me but it just seems like such a fashion reset. You have most likely cleaned out your closet after the New Year began and once those pieces start selling on Poshmark you're ready for new items to brighten up your closet and inspire outfits. Reading up on the incoming trends of the season and planning my shopping list is a habit that I have maintained for many years now and do not intend on stopping any time soon.

Here's what's on my spring shopping list.

Dresses

I almost always buy short dresses. I just feel so much more comfortable in them and feel like they compliment my body type more. But this season I feel like long dresses are starting to take over, especially for more casual looks. I have seen them styled in such cool unique ways so I really wanna try a few out this season.

• The perfect long black dress I can dress up or down. I typically opt for long dresses that hit just above my ankle so I don't have to worry about tripping (logistical fashion sense) & I can show off my shoes.

• A sheer dress -- I love how sexy these looks are. You can totally make them your own in a way you feel comfortable. I love these inspired looks I found and definitely plan on recreating them.

Denim

I have been LOVING the baggy trend that denim has been shifting toward in the past few seasons. It is so much more comfortable than tight skinny jeans. If you want to up your denim line up I suggest these other denim trends to add to your collection.

• Denim skirts We are beginning to see longer denim skirts come in this season. Personally, I love the ones with the slits. They remind me so much of 90's rom coms. I just know Julia Roberts was rocking a version of these on her way to the set of Notting Hill and Pretty Woman.

Tops

• Blousy & draped. These are so in right now! They are so beautiful and look so elegant. I really think that they elevate looks and make outfits look more sophisticated and put together while still remaining effortless.

• Button ups - I already own a million of these but for some reason I need more.

• Striped Sweater - I love the look of draping sweaters across your shoulders and I really want to invest in a nice stripe one for everyday wear. I think this look is so pretty and casual for a beach vacation or just going out to get coffee.

Bottoms

• I am so obsessed with gingham pants at the moment. This look is all over my Pinterest right now I cannot get over it. I think it would be the cutest travel outfit for a spring break trip or even great to go to a casual movie or dinner date with your girlfriends.
